Hotel Goldener Karpfen
The Hotel Goldener Karpfen is the oldest preserved restaurant in Aschaffenburg. Hospitality business has taken place here since 1602. During a dendrochronoligical investigation of the city of Aschaffenburg it was found out that the wood for the half-timbering was already cut in autumn and winter 1419. Therefore, it can be assumed that the house can look back on a history of more than 600 years.
The hotel is operated by the hotel “Wilder Mann” directly opposite as a guest house.
